What began as a local STEM initiative has grown into a rapidly expanding organization serving thousands of students across California through a steadfast commitment to educational excellence, innovation, and equity.

Under her leadership, SparkMakers has evolved beyond robotics into a comprehensive STEAM education organization that empowers students to become makers, thinkers, problem-solvers, and future leaders. Through strategic partnerships, program innovation, and an unwavering focus on quality, Dr. Varajic has guided the organization's growth while ensuring every student experiences real-world learning that prepares them for tomorrow. Her vision continues to shape SparkMakers as it expands across California and beyond, inspiring the next generation of innovators and helping every child discover what they are capable of achieving.

Admir Varajic co-founded SparkMakers with a passion for making technology accessible, engaging, and transformative for every student. As Chief Technology Officer, he leads the organization's technology strategy, curriculum innovation, and the development of hands-on learning experiences that connect students to emerging fields in engineering, robotics, coding, artificial intelligence, and design.

Since co-founding SparkMakers, Admir has been instrumental in building the educational model that transformed a local robotics program into a statewide STEAM education organization. By combining deep technical expertise with a strong understanding of experiential learning, he has developed programs that inspire creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and innovation. His vision continues to drive the creation of new curriculum, maker experiences, and technology initiatives that empower students not just to use technology, but to create with it—and to become the innovators who will shape the future.
